Andy R. Butcher D.M.D.

Graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC on May 19, 2006. He is certified by the Nash Institute for Dental Learning, the SC State Board of Dentistry, and CPR certified.  He has been practicing dentistry in Spartanburg, SC since June of 2006.

 

Front Office 

Sandra: Graduated from Spartanburg Technical College in 1992 with a degree in Dental Assisting.  She was a full time dental assistant for 10 years and is still certified by DANB (Dental Assistants National Board). In 2002 she transferred to office manager and has been the office manager at Spartanburg Dental Associates for over 5 years.  She is certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide, certified in CPR, and takes classes in continuing dental and office education to keep her knowledge up to date.

Assistants

Christy: Graduated from Spartanburg Technical College in 1997 with a degree in Dental Assisting.  She has been a full time dental assistant for 14 yrs.  Eight of those years she spent assisting at a specialty endodontic office.  She has been an assistant to Dr. Andy Butcher for 5 years.  She is certified by the DANB (Dental Assistants National Board), certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide, certified in CPR, and takes continuing dental education classes to keep her knowledge up to date.

Wendy: Graduated from Jefferson Community College in 1991 with a degree in Dental Assisting. She has been a full time dental assistant for 20 years. She has been a full time assistant to Dr. Andy Butcher for almost 6 months. She is certified by the DANB ( Dental Assistants National Board), certified in CPR, and takes continuing dental education classes to keep her knowledge up to date.
 

Hygienists

Kim: Graduated from Greenville Technical College in 1990 and has been a full time hygienist for 20 years.  She has worked for Spartanburg Dental Associates for almost 5 years.  She is a certified member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and is certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide.  She is certified by the SC Board of Dentistry, certified in CPR, and takes classes in continuing dental education to keep her knowledge up to date.

Melissa: Graduated from Greenville Technical College in 1993 and has been a full time hygienist for 18 years.  She has been working for Spartanburg Dental Associates for almost 4 years.  She is certified by the SC Board of Dentistry, certified in CPR, and takes classes in continuing dental education to keep her knowledge up to date..

Stephanie: Graduated from Valencia Community College in 2002 and has been a full time hygienist for over 8 years. She has been working with Spartanburg Dental Associates for over 1 year. She is certified by the SC Board of Dentistry and is certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide. She is certified in CPR and takes classes in continuing dental education to keep her knowledge up to date.

Katee: Graduated from Greenville Technical College in 1997 and has been a full time hygienist for 14 years. She has worked for Spartanburg Dental Associates for over 1 year. She is certified by the SC Board of Dentistry and is certified to monitor Nitrous Oxide. She is certified in CPR and takes classes in continuing dental education to keep her knowledge up to date.
